Employment Tribunals

Employment tribunal claims can present a significant risk both financially and reputationally to any organisation. Our employment team has a solid reputation for its pragmatic approach to litigation and highly skilled advocacy services. Our aim is not only to achieve the best legal outcome but to identify areas of risk and provide solutions to your existing practices to guard against future legal challenges. We have a 100% success rate in defending claims for our clients which reach the Employment Tribunal.

Unless you prefer otherwise, we generally work on a fixed fee basis for each stage of the tribunal process.  For representing you in a 2 day unfair dismissal claim with no more than 3 witnesses, our fees would range between the following (all prices are given exclusive of VAT):


Drafting grounds of response & Form ET3
£900 – £1,200
Disclosure, bundle & witness statements
£2,500 – £3,500
Hearing preparation & attendance
£2,500 – £4,000


The range of pricing takes into account the potential for travel costs, which are always included in the fee and not charged separately, and the varying degrees of factual complexity which can arise from case to case.  Our fees may sometimes be lower but they would never be higher than the totals shown, unless this was agreed with you first at the outset of any instruction.

All work will be undertaken by solicitors and/or a barrister.
